Goal!! This is one of my absolute favorite games I created for my Littles. They were working on regrouping in subtraction in class and I thought this would be a super fun way to work on it. I found an addition/subtraction regrouping worksheet on Teachers Pay Teachers. Since a majority of our students play hockey, I thought it would be fun to incorporate hockey in my classroom {with very specific rules}.
A word of the wise...if you decide hockey would be a fun addition to your classroom, purchase sponge pucks. They don't fly...
I wrote addition and subtraction number sentences on each puck. My Littles had to solve the problem correctly on my chalkboard table before they were allowed to shoot the puck into the hockey goal.
