Numbers
What's the Number?
I used this game as a starting point for a new Little I am working with on Math skills. I wasn't exactly sure what they knew, so I figured the best place to start was numbers. I made this game from buckets I bought from Dollar Tree {white} and Bullseye's Playground {yellow} and bean bags I made myself. The bean bags have a dry erase sheet on them so I can use them for just about anything...and I do! I wish I could remember where I found the iron on dry erase sheets, but it has escaped me. If I ever find it, I'll be sure to add the link!
I wrote different ways of creating a specific number on each of the bean bag, not using a specific color for a specific number. I just grabbed from the box. I wrote number words, ordinal numbers, addition facts, and drew simple illustrations to represent different numbers. The object of the game was to be able to match the bean bag with the corresponding bucket. If your Littles master 1-10, you can easily turn the buckets and make the same game for 11-20.
